A 48-year-old man presented to the emergency department with acute severe neck pain after he jumped into the swimming pool and hit his head at the floor 30 minutes ago. He had a 10-year history of chronic lower back, buttock and neck pain. The pain usually occured during sitting at the office for long period and while sleeping.
